Attorney Background:

Bill obtained his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating Cum Laude in 1975.  He received an undergraduate scholarship award for maintaining the highest GPA in the field of Political Science. He received his law degree from the University of Missouri in 1978.  While attending law school he was selected for the Missouri Law Review, having published a casenote commentary and an article relating to Missouri injunction bonds.  While in private practice he authored a feature article relating to equitable adoption which was published in the Missouri Bar Journal in 2001.  He has extensive experience in the field of appellate practice, having written and argued more than forty appellate briefs and successfully defending more than twenty cases on appeal.  Bill has devoted a substantial part of his practice to domestic litigation, and has successfully tried family law cases throughout his 30+ years of practice. He has also spent a significant part of his time handling property-related matters, including representation of property owners’ associations, real estate developers, and individual property owners.  He currently serves as general counsel for the City of Desloge and City of Leadington, as well as prosecuting attorney for the City of Desloge.
